Work to extend Barrack Lane Medical Centre to provide two more consulting rooms was started in December 2009. Work is expected to continue until September 2010.

Whilst we will do all we can to minimise disruption to both patients and staff, the car park area may be affected and parking spaces may be limited so please bear with us during this difficult time.

Out of Hours
For urgent advice after the surgery has closed, during the night and at weekends ring the surgery and your call will automatically be diverted to Harmoni the Out of Hours Service for Suffolk.

Test Results
Specimens need to be dropped in at the reception desk by 12 noon so that we can send the samples off to the laboratories.  Please ring for results after 2.30pm when the surgery is less busy.

Amenity Fund

The Barrack Lane and Stoke Park Amenity Fund was started several years ago when we received a couple of very generous donations from patients. "Please use the money to help other patients" the donors said.

Since that time we have had a number of donations, big and small, which have helped to buy equipment and facilities such as:

There have been other items bought which have continued to help patients and we are extremely grateful to everyone who has made a contribution. The money goes into a separate bank account to maintain probity and to ensure it is only used for legitimate purposes.
