Opening Hours

For telephone and personal enquiries the surgery hours for each location are:

Barrack Lane

Stoke Park

When the surgery is closed at weekends and on Bank Holidays, telephone enquiries are automatically directed to an out-of-hours service operated by Harmoni. In an emergency or if the matter is life threatening please dial 999 and request an ambulance.

When Stoke Park is closed many of your queries can be dealt with by Barrack Lane. If you telephone Stoke Park when they are closed your call will automatically be diverted through to Barrack Lane.

We also offer some early morning and Saturday morning appointments, primarily intended for working people. Please click on the "Extended Hours" tab above.

Arriving late for your appointment
It really helps us if you arrive on time for your appointment, as you will not be able to use the automatic check-in system and it will result in delays for other patients. We apologise if you arrive on time, but find that we are running late! This is usually because certain patients have needed extra time and not because we arrived late!

Extended Hours

Surgery opening times have been extended in order to support patients who have difficulty coming during the day, such as night workers or those who are commuting daily.

Pre-bookable appointments, some of which are available to patients at our Stoke Park surgery, are offered on the following days:

• Tuesday 7am - 8am
• Wednesday 7am - 8am
• Thursday 7am - 8am
• Saturday mornings  

When We Are Closed

Out of Hours Service

For urgent advice after the surgery has closed, during the night and at weekends ring the surgery and your call will automatically be diverted to the Out of Hours Service.

The doctor will be able to give telephone advice and, if appropriate, offer consultation at the Emergency Centre (Riverside Clinic, Unit 4, Landseer Road – opposite the Cliff Lane turn off and adjacent to the Brewery Tap Pub). Should the doctor feel it necessary, a home visit will be arranged.
