Parking at the Practices

< Back to policies & procedures

Please be aware that a privately operated vehicle number plate recognition scheme is now in force at both Barrack Lane and Stoke Park Medical Centres, with a permitted maximum stay of 60 minutes. Should you run over the allotted hour, please inform reception.

Patients and visitors coming to the surgery who wish to make use of the car park must now register their vehicle immediately on arrival with every visit. The screens to register your vehicle can be found in the reception areas at both practices. If you need assistance with entering your car registration, please see a member of our reception team at the front desk.

Failure to register your car will result in a penalty notice over which the practice has no influence.

Additional Parking

When the Barrack Lane Medical Centre is experiencing times of high attendance, the car park may not have available spaces.

Additional parking for Barrack Lane Medical Centre can be found at South Street next to COES. This car park does require payment and is not owned by the practice.
